Laravel Development

Custom websites, platforms and business systems on Laravel, built around your own logic: your processes, roles, integrations and data. The code, the data and the accounts are handed over to you under the contract, so the system belongs to your business, not to a platform or to us.

What we build

Custom software is where templates stop being useful, and where the right architecture decides whether a product can grow or eventually has to be rebuilt from scratch. We start by understanding the business logic your platform actually needs to support, not just the features on a wish list.

Using Laravel's flexibility, we build systems engineered for your specific workflows, then stay involved to extend, maintain, and adapt them as your requirements change. The goal is software that keeps earning its cost long after launch, not one that becomes technical debt.

Getting to know the product and developing strategies and solutions on your request

To create a unique product, we always dive into the field and delve into the details of the request. We conduct marketing research, study the market and competitors. We estimate the timing, budget and present to you the best directions for the development of the project.

02

06

Design

It is an important stage that allows you to create not only a stylish visual concept of the website, but also turn it into a user-friendly platform. In the design development process, we always take the product / service as a basis and emphasize the features and benefits. As a result, we present a concept that combines UX and UI solutions.

03

06

Markup and programming

This stage is up to the programmers. Our specialists implement the latest development technologies that turn the picture into HTML format and create all the important elements of the portal: the main page, thematic sections, contact forms for ordering, chats and others. In addition, a convenient admin panel is also being developed, with which you can manage the site and add relevant content.

04

Services connection

It is important for us that the implemented project becomes an effective working tool and covers business requests as much as possible. Therefore, we select suitable third-party services and connect proven security systems, CRM systems, IP telephony and others. We can implement this service both at the stage of website development and after its launch.

05

06

Security

We care about your data and confidential information, therefore we connect reliable security systems. We conduct important tests, identify weaknesses and protect the site from hacking and loss of important data.

Project release and technical support

Before presenting the final version and launching a project, we test and “clean up” even the smallest details. After the website is approved and launched, we will stay in touch with you and will help with technical issues and troubleshoot all problems.

How you can work with us

Whatever the format, the work is shaped around how your business runs, not a template, and what we build belongs to you. The same people and standards in three formats: choose the one that fits your stage, or combine them.

FAQ

What kind of projects do you build with Laravel?

We use Laravel for custom web applications, complex business logic, content-heavy sites, internal admin systems, and integrations that off-the-shelf platforms cannot handle - anything that needs to be built around your specific workflow rather than a template.

How is Laravel different from using a website builder or CMS template?

Laravel is a full PHP framework, not a drag-and-drop builder, so there is no plugin bloat or licensing limits. Every feature is custom-coded for your exact requirements, which means better performance, security, and long-term flexibility as your business grows.

Can you take over and maintain an existing Laravel project?

Yes. We regularly audit and take over existing Laravel codebases, whether the previous developer is unavailable or the project needs fixing, refactoring, or new features added on top of what is already there.

Do you build the database structure and admin panel as well?

Yes, a Laravel project typically includes the database design, a custom admin panel for managing content and data, and the public-facing application, all built and tested as one connected system.

Can Laravel applications integrate with third-party services like payment gateways or CRMs?

Yes, Laravel is well-suited for integrations with payment gateways, CRMs, marketing tools, and external APIs. We have connected Laravel projects to a wide range of third-party systems depending on what the business needs.

How long does a custom Laravel project take?

Timeline depends heavily on scope - a focused feature or internal tool might take 3 to 4 weeks, while a full custom platform can take several months. We provide a realistic estimate after reviewing your requirements.

Do you provide support and updates after the Laravel application is launched?

Yes, we offer ongoing support packages covering bug fixes, security updates, PHP/Laravel version upgrades, and new feature development as your application evolves.

How much does Laravel development cost?

Senior Laravel development at Peretz Agency costs $75 an hour, or a fixed price for a defined scope, from $15,000. An online store on Laravel starts from $25,000. A vetted Laravel developer who joins your own team costs $45 to $65 an hour, and an audit of an old site before an upgrade starts from $300 for a small site and from $1,000 for a large one.

Laravel, WordPress or Shopify: which one do I need?

Choose Laravel when your pricing, delivery, B2B terms or integrations are your own and a ready-made platform would need constant workarounds. For a content site, WordPress is usually enough; for a standard store with a few hundred products, Shopify or OpenCart launch faster and cost less. We say which one fits on the first call, before any estimate.

Which Laravel version should a project run on in 2026?

Laravel 13, or Laravel 12 if a package you depend on is not ready for 13 yet. As of October 2026 only these two versions receive security fixes, and Laravel 12 loses them in February 2027. Laravel 13 needs PHP 8.3 or newer, and PHP 8.2 stops getting security fixes on 31 December 2026. A project on Laravel 11 or older runs without security fixes and should be upgraded one version at a time.

How long does it take to upgrade an old Laravel version?

It depends on the custom code and the packages around the framework more than on the version gap. Laravel cannot skip major versions, so we move one version at a time on a closed copy with a rollback plan. One of our projects went from Laravel 7 and PHP 7.4 to Laravel 13 and PHP 8.4 in three days; a project with abandoned packages and heavy custom logic takes longer, which the audit shows before work starts.

What do we get at handover?

The source code, the deployment commands, the server requirements, the rollback procedure and an AGENTS.md file: a plain description of the structure, the rules and the commands. With them another team or an AI coding agent can continue the project without guessing.

Should the front end be Blade, Vue through Inertia or a separate Next.js app?

Blade, rendered by Laravel itself, fits content sites, catalogues and simple back offices: one application, one deployment, one team. Vue or React through Inertia gives interactive admin panels and accounts without building a separate API. A Next.js storefront over Laravel suits brands whose storefront carries the sale, as on the Nicole boutique site, but it means two applications to deploy and a front end specialist. We make the choice in discovery, from the screens you actually need.

Can you add AI features to our existing Laravel application?

Yes, if it runs on a supported version. The Laravel AI SDK needs Laravel 12 or 13 and PHP 8.3 or newer, and Laravel's MCP package needs Laravel 11.45 or newer (Packagist, October 2026). On Laravel 10 or older we either upgrade first or write a direct connection to the model, which you then maintain without the official updates. Model calls run in a queue, the agent gets only the rights its task needs, and usage gets a monthly limit before launch.

Is Laravel secure enough for payments and personal data?

The framework protects against request forgery, cross-site scripting and SQL injection by default. The real risks sit in maintenance: unsupported PHP or Laravel versions, secrets in the repository, untested permissions and stale dependencies. We leave card data to the payment provider, cover roles and permissions with automated tests, give every person and every AI agent only the access their role needs, and plan PHP and Laravel upgrades before security support ends.

Should we upgrade our Laravel application or rebuild it?

Upgrade when the business logic and the data model are sound and only the versions are old. Consider a rebuild when the processes have moved on, the connections to other systems run through scripts and manual copies, or the code is still on PHP 5. A common industry rule of thumb is to price both once the upgrade estimate approaches about 60% of a rebuild. An audit of an old site starts from $300 for a small site and from $1,000 for a large one, and it answers this question before any estimate.
