What we build on Shopify

Shopify rewards stores that are built with intent, not just assembled from a theme, and the difference shows up directly in conversion rate. We begin with your product catalog, your margins, and your customer's buying behavior, then design the store architecture around what will actually drive sales.

From there we handle custom theme development, app integrations, and payment setup, and stay engaged after launch to help the store scale as your catalog and your traffic grow.

Discovery & Strategy

We analyze your product catalog, business goals, and current store setup. We define the right Shopify plan, theme approach, and app stack before any build work begins — so the entire project moves in the right direction from day one.

02

Design

We design your custom Shopify theme in Figma — aligned with your brand, optimized for conversion, and structured for easy content management once the store is live.

03

Development

We build the theme from approved designs using Shopify Liquid, implementing all custom sections, collection and product page layouts, cart behavior, and full mobile responsiveness.

04

Integrations & Configuration

We connect payment gateways, configure shipping rules and taxes, integrate your CRM and email marketing platform, and set up all apps the store requires.

05

06

Testing & QA

We test the full purchase flow, all device sizes, checkout behavior, and third-party integrations before launch — including edge cases like out-of-stock items and discount code handling.

Launch & Support

We migrate the store to the live domain, verify analytics and tracking are firing correctly, and stay available for the first weeks after launch to resolve any issues that come up.

FAQ

Do you build custom Shopify themes, or use existing ones?

Both, depending on the store. A ready theme suits a modest catalogue whose products fit its layout: we adjust it to your brand and add sections. A custom theme makes sense when product presentation, filters or content need a structure no theme has, or when the brand cannot look like a template. We decide this with you before design starts.

Can you migrate our store from another platform to Shopify?

Yes. We move stores from platforms such as WooCommerce, Magento and BigCommerce, including products, customer data and order history. Every old URL gets a redirect to its new address, tested before the domain moves, and after launch we watch indexing and new 404 errors. Nobody can promise that positions stay exactly the same, and a complete redirect map is the main protection.

Do you work with Shopify Plus?

Yes, we work with both standard Shopify and Shopify Plus, including custom checkout customization and integrations available only on the Plus plan.

What's included in a Shopify development project?

A typical project covers store setup, custom theme design and development, product catalog structuring, app integrations, and payment and shipping configuration, followed by testing before launch.

Do you set up payment gateways and shipping integrations?

Yes, configuring payment gateways including Shopify Payments, PayPal, and others, and shipping rules is part of every store build, tailored to where and how you sell.

How long does a typical Shopify build take?

A standard custom Shopify store typically takes 4 to 6 weeks, while larger catalogs or Shopify Plus builds with custom integrations can take longer. We confirm the timeline after reviewing your requirements.

Do you provide ongoing support after the store launches?

Yes, we offer post-launch support for theme updates, app conflicts, and ongoing improvements, so your store keeps running smoothly as it scales.

Will I be able to track my project?

Yes. Every client gets access to our project portal: stages, approvals, documents and requests in one place.

How much does a Shopify store cost to build and to run?

At Peretz Agency a store on Shopify or Shopify Plus starts from $10,000 to build. Running costs are paid to Shopify: in the United States the plans cost $29 to $299 a month on yearly billing, and Plus starts at $2,300 a month on a three-year term (Shopify, October 2026). Paid apps and card fees come on top, and with a third-party payment provider Shopify adds its own fee, from 2% of each order on Basic to 0.2% on Plus. We count both sides before recommending a plan.

Do we need Shopify Plus, or is a standard plan enough?

A standard plan is enough for most stores. Plus pays off when you need something only Plus has: apps on the information, shipping and payment steps of checkout, a custom app with your own Shopify Functions, a separate price list for each wholesale company, or expansion stores for other brands or regions. Plus starts at $2,300 a month on a three-year term and $2,500 on a one-year term, and higher-volume businesses may also pay a variable platform fee (Shopify, October 2026).

Will our product URLs change when we move to Shopify?

Almost always. On Shopify products live under /products and collections under /collections, these paths are fixed, and a redirect works only from an old address that no longer opens a page. A store can hold up to 100,000 redirects, or 20 million on Plus (Shopify Help Center, October 2026). We map every old URL to its new address before development and test the map on the new store before the domain moves.

Can a Shopify store sell to wholesale customers?

Yes. B2B is available on Basic, Grow, Advanced and Plus: company accounts with their locations, quantity rules, price breaks, net payment terms and up to three B2B catalogs on the standard plans. A catalog assigned to each company or location, deposits and partial payments need Plus (Shopify Help Center, October 2026). When wholesale prices come from individual contracts kept in an ERP, we compare Shopify with a custom store before choosing.

Can we sell in several countries from one Shopify store?

Yes. Country and region markets are available on every plan with no limit on their number, each with its own currency, language, prices and domain, and a store can publish up to 20 languages, or 30 on Plus (Shopify Help Center, October 2026). Charging in the local currency is a separate question: it works with Shopify Payments and, for enterprise businesses, Adyen. With other payment providers the price is converted to the store's currency at checkout, so we check the provider for every country before the build.

Can we leave Shopify later if we outgrow it?

Yes. Your data can be exported, but the theme, the logic inside apps and the settings for taxes, delivery and checkout have to be rebuilt on the new platform, and historical orders need separate tools. Product and collection URLs follow Shopify's fixed pattern, so leaving means another full map of redirects. That is why we plan the exit before the move, when it costs least to think about.
