This is outstaffing by stack: you set the tasks, we handle everything around the developer. We select for the code you actually have, from C++20 with CMake and sanitizers in CI to a large C++98 codebase with its own build scripts, or plain C on Linux. If the work needs a whole group with its own PM, a dedicated development team fits better. For other formats, see outsourcing and outstaffing.
Hire C & C++ Developers
Part of your product is in C or C++: a fast native module, a desktop app, a cross-platform library, or fifteen-year-old code nobody wants to touch. People who work well in it are rare, and a local search can take months. We find C and C++ developers in Ukraine and Eastern Europe, people we know personally, and send a shortlist of 2 to 4 vetted candidates. You interview them and choose. The developer joins your team under your lead, full or part time, paid by the hour.

What our C and C++ developers do
-
01.
Modern C++
C++17 and C++20, RAII, smart pointers, move semantics, readable templates, the standard library and Boost.
-
02.
Performance work
Profiling with perf or Valgrind, cache friendly data layouts, thread pools, less lock contention and memory use.
-
03.
Native extensions
Python bindings with pybind11, Node.js addons with N-API, JNI, a stable C API around C++ code, cross-platform libraries built with CMake.
-
04.
Desktop software
Qt Widgets and QML, builds and installers for Windows, macOS and Linux, and upkeep of MFC or Win32 applications.
-
05.
Linux and system code
Daemons, sockets and IPC, POSIX APIs, cross-compilation for embedded Linux, remote GDB.
-
06.
Legacy and modernisation
An old build compiling again, GoogleTest or Catch2 around fragile code, static analysis, a step by step move to a newer standard.

The developer starts
We handle onboarding and access, the developer gets your build running and joins your reviews, and you get a monthly report.
What you get
All code and intellectual property are yours from day one, in every contract. If the module is called from Python, our Python developers can join the same way.
A shortlist of 2 to 4 C or C++ developers matched to your standard, platforms, build system and seniority.
The decision, made by you after your own interviews.
Contracts, NDAs, equipment and access to your repository, tracker and build servers, arranged by us.
A monthly report on hours and work done, plus regular check-ins.
HR support, so problems come up early.
A replacement if the developer does not fit, without a new search on your side.

How you can work with us
The same people and the same standards in three formats. Choose the one that fits your stage, or combine them.

A project with a fixed price
We agree the scope, the price and the timeline, and we are responsible for the result.

Pricing
$45 to $65 an hour
The rate depends on seniority (middle, senior or lead), on full or part time, and on niche skills such as deep performance tuning, low level Linux work or a large legacy codebase. Compared with a local hire, costs are usually 40 to 60% lower.
You pay for the hours worked, with one invoice a month. The rate includes selection, contracts, equipment, HR support, replacements and monthly reports. Your own tools, licences and hardware, such as a commercial Qt licence, paid analysers or test devices, stay on your side.

FAQ
Which seniority do we need?
A middle developer fits defined tasks with a reviewer. A senior owns a module and finds the cause of crashes alone. A lead decides architecture, build and the modernisation plan.
Our code is old C++ with no tests. Is that a problem?
No. We look for developers comfortable in old code. They get it building reliably, put tests around what they touch and improve it step by step, without a rewrite you did not ask for.
Can they work with our hardware or an industry standard?
Tell us the platform, toolchain and any standard the code must follow. We look for that background, say openly when a profile is rare, and you check it in the interview.
Who manages the developer?
You do: your backlog, your process, your lead. We handle contracts, equipment, HR support and replacements.
What hours will they work?
Ukraine and Eastern Europe overlap 3 to 5 hours with Western Europe and 2 to 4 hours with the US East Coast. Most of our developers are flexible and work well async; for Seattle and the West Coast we agree shared hours up front.
Can we hire the developer in-house later?
Ask us. We discuss it case by case.
