Phase 01: Digital Foundation

Strategic Sessions · Digital Strategy · UX/UI Design · Web Development · 2026

Schoeffel is not simply a client for us. It is a partner.

Our work with the House began with strategic sessions that went far beyond the immediate task of creating a website. Together, we looked at the brand's heritage, its position today, its future direction and how that heritage could be translated into a contemporary digital language.

The first result of that work is the new Schoeffel landing page, the first stage of a larger digital development.

We deliberately did not try to build everything at once. The first step was to establish a digital foundation: a focused, carefully structured experience that could introduce Schoeffel, its history, its philosophy of pearls and its collections while creating a platform for what comes next.

The landing page is therefore not the final expression of the project. It is Phase 01. A first digital layer that can grow together with the House.

One House, Many Perspectives. One of the things that makes this project particularly meaningful for us is the way it is being created.

Schoeffel's visual language is not the work of a single team sitting in one office. Different visual elements, ideas and directions are being developed together with specialists and creative teams across different continents. They come from different places, cultures and professional backgrounds.

A New Digital Chapter for a Century-Old House

What connects them is not a single aesthetic formula. It is a shared connection to the history, values and heritage of the House.

That creates a very different kind of creative process. We are not trying to make every element look as though it came from the same hand. We are trying to make different perspectives feel as though they belong to the same story.

And for a heritage brand, we believe that distinction matters.

Heritage Is Not a Style. A century-old brand does not need to look old. At the same time, making a heritage brand look contemporary does not mean removing everything that made it distinctive. The challenge is somewhere between the two, the same tension we explored in When a Brand Disappears, Is It Really Dead?

Schoeffel has a history that cannot simply be redesigned. It has to be translated.

The pearl itself became an important part of that translation. A pearl is not manufactured into existence in the same way as a conventional gemstone. It develops over time, shaped by natural processes and ultimately becoming something individual.

That idea became an important conceptual foundation for the digital experience: a pearl is not simply a product. It is the result of time, nature, craftsmanship and human judgment.

The same principle applies to the House itself. Schoeffel's heritage was built over generations. The digital experience should therefore not attempt to replace that history with a new visual identity. It should give that history somewhere to live in the present.

From Strategy to the First Digital Product. Our first stage combines several layers of work.

Strategic Sessions: understanding the business, the brand and its opportunities.

Digital Strategy: defining how the heritage and positioning can translate into a contemporary digital environment.

UX/UI Design: creating the structure, hierarchy and visual language of the experience.

Web Development: turning the strategy and design into a live digital product.

The result is the first visible layer of a broader digital ecosystem. Not a finished destination. A foundation.

A Partnership Built for the Long Term. For us, the most interesting part of the Schoeffel project is that we are not approaching it as a conventional agency assignment with a fixed beginning and end, the same relationship we described from the very start in Building the Next Century: PERETZ Begins the Digital Transformation of Schoeffel.

We are building it together with the House and with the wider network of people contributing to its future.

That means the work is allowed to evolve. Ideas can be tested. Visual directions can mature. New technologies can be introduced when they make sense. Different creative perspectives can contribute without losing the central identity. And the digital experience can grow as the brand grows.

That is what makes the project feel less like a website launch and more like the beginning of a new chapter in the history of Schoeffel.
