Magerit is a Spanish jewelry brand known for expressive, sculptural designs that combine jewelry craftsmanship with themes drawn from nature, mythology and Spanish culture. The brand's collections include highly detailed pieces inspired by figures, animals, natural elements and stories.
In 2021, we worked on the UX/UI design for Magerit, focusing on how this distinctive jewelry identity could be translated into a contemporary digital experience.
The challenge was not simply to create a visually impressive jewelry website. Magerit's products already carry a strong visual language. The interface therefore needed to support the jewelry rather than compete with it.
We worked on the structure of the experience, product presentation, navigation and visual hierarchy to make it easier to move between the brand, its collections and individual pieces. For a luxury jewelry website, this balance is particularly important: the experience has to feel premium while remaining intuitive enough for customers to actually explore the products.
Magerit is particularly interesting from a UX perspective because its jewelry is organized not only around conventional product categories, but also around stories, themes and collections. The brand has created collections inspired by mythology, nature and the four elements, among others. Its Elements collection, for example, connects jewelry with Water, Earth, Air and Fire, while earlier collections explored themes such as Atlantis and mythology.
